caspar software package provides Makefile snippets for centralized configuration management and typesetting, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install caspar
caspar is installed in your system.
Make ensure the caspar package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep caspar *
You will get with caspar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
